I'm seriously thinking about starting it. Have you found it to be beneficial?

Yes, it helps with heart health and inflammation. Just make sure you get a good brand and keep them in the refrigerator (they can get rancid if exposed to heat).0

What brand do you recommend?0 -
I get mine through a pharmacy (it is part of a nutriciticals program I’m on through my doctor). So I’m kind of at a loss to recommend a brand. I guess, if I didn’t get it from where I was, I’d get Superessentals: https://greenfieldfitnesssystems.com/product/superessentials-omega-natural-fish-oil/. It is kinda pricy, but comes with some decent backing.0

Yep! I take Nordic Naturals, fish oil was one of the few that my nutritionist recommended taking.0

I'll add that us old guys need all the help we can get with reducing inflammation. I've found it very beneficial

I take purepharma, it's expensive but its the only one where I never get the nasty fish aftertaste and I only have to take 3 capsules to get 2000mg of epa/dha.0

I ordered this brand from amazon yesterday. Hubs and I will start it as soon as it comes in. Thinking about starting my 15 year old crossfitting son on it too. I think it might help his acne.0 -
I have been testing different brands and right now I am taking Trader Joe's Wild Salmon Oil. http://www.traderjoes.com/fearless-flyer/article/463
I take one with breakfast and one with dinner. At this time I like it because it seems so natural however there are times when I can taste the fish oil from a little belch. Going to finish the bottle before I decide if I am staying with this brand. The prices is the best and I know I am getting fish oil!0 -
I started taking PurePharma back in December. I bought the daily packs that have fish oil, magnesium, zinc, B-6, and Vitamin D and was taking them religiously every day. Since December, I got sick 3 times (one of which was the flu). Prior to December, I hadn't been sick since March 2014. I can't say for sure, but that is the only thing that I did differently in my diet and lifestyle that I can attribute the sickness to. I wonder if they suppress the immune system for some people?
I have yet to find anyone else who has taken their supplements to compare notes with, but that was my experience.
After being diagnosed with the flu, I stopped taking the supplements. We'll see how it goes!0 -
I order it from puritan.com. No complaints so far.0

I get it from Costco. When I stopped taking it I noticed intense joint pain within a few weeks. The ones I take are Nature's Bounty Fish oil and are coated so you don't get fishy aftertaste. Also its one pill per day only. They contain 1400mg fish oil and of that 980mg Total Omega-3 in one pill.0
