Any suggestions on how cook efficiently?

I'm amazed this actually works. This should be my 3rd week but I didn't plan my first week well so I started over. I stopped half way on the first week, but still lost 3 lbs (1 lb. per day) and went up 2 lbs. This week I started over and lost 6 lbs. as of yesterday. The first week I had to cook on Sunday for two people for 4 days and it took me about 3 hrs, I was exhausted. I love cooking and I decided not follow all the recipes as I first planned. I decided that it's easier to cook what I want by following the list. Any suggestions on how to be more efficient while cooking for 2 people for 4 days (phase 1 and phase 2). Thanks!

I find it easier to duplicate meals for the two days of the phase. I double the recipe and have half on Monday, and the rest of it on Tuesday because the dinner recipes work fine for my entire family. If you're only feeding two people, a lot of the recipes are large enough that you'd have enough leftovers for day 2. Don't worry about only using her recipes, you can easily adapt your own recipes to fit. Don't forget about your crockpot and grill, they definitely make my life easier.

I made double and triple amounts and froze it for the following week. My family is not a big fan of eating the same thing two days in a row so this worked for us. Chili freezes really well. I browned 4 lbs of ground lean beef or chicken (which made 4 dinners fir my family of 3) and then used half for tacos and made chili with the other half. So Monday we had chili and Tuesday we had tacos and then I froze half of each and had the same the following week.
