What are some of the methods you all have tried and found successful in Gaining and maintaining lean mass??

Hi , personaly I used to find about 30 minutes of High intensity interval training 3 times a week and light-ish weights with 15-20 reps used to do nicely but that was never ever really based on any particular programme0
