I need new running shoes. I have high arches and I bought these absurd, probably not vegan, built-in arch Nike shoes on sale at TJMaxx multiple years ago. Now that I am actually exercising regularly, I am realizing that I need new shoes or I am going to get injured any day. Since my feet tend to lean out and I am duckfooted (working on that!), running shoes with built in high arches spell disaster in the form of shin strain and rolled ankles.
I know what's bad about my shoes, but I have no idea how to find the right starter shoes that don't cost more than 65 USD. Any ideas? All the vegan running shoes I find are over 100 USD.
Ideally, I need a lightweight shoe that can handle street running, arobics, and the occasional trail run. Any help is appreciated!

Is there a running or shoe store near you? They would be able to evaluate how you run and recommend the best shoe for you. I personally wear vibram five fingers, which are super comfortable and most of the shoes are vegan, but they are about $100 a pair, unless you can get them on sale.0
