I am a few days shy of 3 months post-op and finally made 50lb weight loss mark. Am very excited, 69 lbs til goal. Here is a photo so far. The before photo is the day after I was discharged so forgive my appearance!
For the newbies post-op, if you don't already do this I highly suggest taking measurements. I don't seem to lose as fast as others on this forum. When you take measurements even if the scale doesn't seem to move, you really can tell your body is shrinking! I have lost 62.5" since surgery. My measurements were 449.5" and now they are 387! My BMI went from 41.2 to 33.8. So not quite halfway to goal, but I'm only 3 months post op so my "honeymoon" phase isn't done yet. Hoping to make more headway until weight loss starts to stall like a lot of ppl complain about around 6 months.

Thank you everyone! The support groups my weight loss clinic offers are held Thurs at 6p, which happens to be my 11 hr late shift and I don't get out until 7p, so if I didn't have this forum, where everyone is so brutally honest and open with their struggles, I'm not sure I'd be doing as well as I am. This VSGers group is a Godsend!0
