Ok, I have to see if anyone else is experiencing this too...I have really bad stomach pain with I run or do high impact aerobics. I am a year out from surgery so I'm not still healing. Not sure what this could be...I have my one year follow up next week and I will ask then...just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

No, but I did have some lingering pain for a few years after a different abdominal surgery and was told it was related to scar tissue. It did eventually go away but I was told there was a possibility it would not. Hope you get an answer!

The scar tissue is the most likely answer also may be called adhesions which form after surgery. There is no treatment for adhesions in most cases because any more surgery could cause even more adhesions.

My guess would be scar tissue or adhesions as they are called in the medical world. Possibly a hernia. Glad you are seeing your doctor soon. Pain is our body's way of telling us something is not right. Best to you!

Thanks for the info! Hoping he'll know what the issue is. I'm not sure how to describe it...I know sometimes you can be sore from heavy breathing while running. But it is def not a soreness. It's more of an ache.
