I know this has been mentioned on here before but i can never find it. I just got a Fitbit Charge HR yesterday. I also use Runtastic or the Runtastic's Road Bike apps when I go outside for a walk/run or bike ride. I want to make sure I'm doing all this correctly as far as syncing.
I have Runtastic syncing to MFP. I also have MFP and Fitbit connected. If I were to go out for a walk tonight, would I hit the "start exercise" button on my Fitbit, and also start my walk on Runtastic? Or is that going to cause double-tracking?

Not double - but whatever the Fitbit comes up with for calorie burn will be replaced by the manual workout that syncs over.
So that activity record in Fitbit the button press causes - will contain calorie burn that was replaced - though the steps and distance will still be within the daily steps.
I'd suggest don't sync it, not like it's going to correct the distance on Fitbit in case that was off.
If the calorie burn is off and you think Runtastic is better, then do sync it, skip the button press though since you don't care what the HR calorie burn is.0
