Bumpy Tongue and Bleeding?

Hello friends...
My tongue has gotten progressively bumpy over the last few days in the back, this morning when I brushed it it actually started to bleed. I am thinking this is a process of ketosis but the bleeding kinda freaked me out...thoughts?

    maybe a food allergy that developed? i'd definitely call the dr on this one

    Possibly thrush/yeast. You are about a week out and they gave you antibiotics while in the hospital, which could allow yeast to grow. Just my guess, but you should call your doctor. They would want to know.

    I called the surgeon this afternoon, they said to call the family doc, did that seeing him on Wednesday...soonest they had, if it gets worse I will call back and insist on being seen soon. I think you might be right...it's kinda gross :neutral:
