Do you guys have any big plans?
I get to go back to my home town to play music at a church
For me, weekends feel harder because I don't have school/work, so I have to keep myself busy to keep my mind off food XD

My fiancée wanted to make waffles this morning ( he is a waffle connoisseur!) but luckily we didn't have any eggs! I went with my normal weekday breakfast: steel cut oats with raspberries and nuts on top. We are about to take our dog for a walk and I think we are going kayaking today, which will be much more fun than the gym! That, and along with some gardening should make for a nice, active day Tonight I've got my monthly poker game. There is all sorts of bad food there-- chips and dip, candy, beer, etc. I'll have to not arrive hungry! Tomorrow we've got a brunch at a friend's house, so I'll have to be careful with eating there, as well, as there will likely be mimosas, all kinds of pastries, etc.0

My husband and I both work shifts which often includes weekends, and so everyday kind of feels the same, except the kids are off school. I do however give myself Saturday's to have a break from being really strict and eat a few of the things I miss throughout the rest of the 6 days, homemade bread, pile of pasta, piece of cake etc. I don't go overboard and I still count the calories as a reminder of how many it actually mounts up to, and this prevents me eating like that all the time. Hallelujah for Fat Saturdays!
Today I went for a 3.5km run and have covered 10k in walking around London with the children, not to mention a barrel of laughs on the see saw! Lol! Tomorrow I have a 12.5hr shift and Sunday's at work often involve people bringing in food from their native countries. It's amazing how much different cuisine can be experience without even leaving a London hospital! I've decided to make my dinner for tomorrow though and to just enjoy the smells the food brings with it!0 -

Good job! I was feeling good about my run this morning and then i saw all the walking you did today on top of your run haha! I'm off to a birthday dinner at a Mexican restaurant...I'm gonna try my hardest to eat well. Wish me luck0 -
I reached my goal of 10,000 steps, so I am pretty chuffed! I did sneak in a chocolate cupcake from my daughter's birthday party on Saturday (the first in 8 weeks), but I did scrape all the icing off first!
Weekends are generally tough because they revolve around food, but for the first time (ever), we went to the park and actually played some basketball instead. We are trying to encourage our daughter to get into sports so it was mainly to show her how much fun it was, but hubby and I had a great time too0 -
I had to rest, I saw the nurse practitioner that I work for on Friday, left work early due to a nasal and double ear infection, on top of the body aches my arms were overworked from my weight lifting class on Thursday. I plan to get back on the horse tomorrow, just have this darn stuffy nose bothering me.0

Aren't bugs just the worst??!! I find that as soon as I start being good and eating well, working out, I get something to set me back! I've been lucky this time so far!
Just finished a mega 12.5 hour shift plus 7km in walking, gotta do it all again tomorrow but at least people have notice I'm shaping up a bit! Received some very welcome compliments today and even managed to avoid the cake and biscuits (and they are my weak points!)
Hope everyone had a fab weekend. Look forward to sharing the results of week one next week and seeing how well all us challengers have done!
