I bought low calorie whole grain bread that's 40 call per slice. Since regular whole grain bread is 80-90 call per slice, would you count two slices of low calorie as a yellow container or leave it at one slice?

My husband uses a low carb/cal bread and I occasionally have some. I have counted one slice as one yellow but I think I'm short-changing myself. That said, I only have one slice a week so it's not something I eat often. It's just occasionally something I want but normally I prefer to use my yellow on something more substantial than a slice or two of bread. Brown rice, oatmeal, quinoa are far more filling than bread, when you get right down to it. Today I'm going to enjoy some sweet potato fries.

I only use it 1-2 times a week too. Today I toasted some bread and put chicken salad on top to eat on the road taking my daughter back to school. I did have two slices, o e being the end piece so it was small, but it definitely filled me.

I wouldn't think twice about it if you're happy with your weight loss. I have a few cheats of my own and I am fine with my progress so it's not that big a deal to me.

I'm certain the CICO crowd here would say that yes, it's the same, use two slices. I ate light wheat bread for years in place of regular. I'm trying to follow this plan to the letter so now I'm eating regular wheat bread but honestly, I'm sure it won't affect your loss at all.
