First official 5k race done and over with. 53rd out of 67 at 49.25. I was NOT last and that's about all I can say.
I am going to have to figure out how to really fit running into my life and schedule. I am going to have to make my husband more responsible for taking care of the baby as well. He says that he wants me to work out, but then I am left to take care of my work, charting, cleaning the house and cooking. As well as getting the baby up and dressed in the morning, getting her to daycare and picking her up. He helps some, but not enough.

Congrats on your first 5k!! I hope to get back to running soon. I tried at 9 wks postpartum and was still feeling a little pelvic pain.
Yep, sounds like hubby needs to step up a little more. Could he either get the baby to day care or pick up? My hubby takes our 3 kids to day care (two different centers) and I pick them all up. This gives me about 1 hour to myself in the morning and he gets a little time in the evening to himself. I cherish that hour!!0 -
Not a bad idea- at least for when he's not working. On days he works, he has to leave before the daycare even opens and doesn't get back until after 8pm usually. But he does have a lot of days off.0
