Good morning everyone!!!
I still couldn't come up with anything to celebrate yesterday. So on to today. I got a compliment that I look smaller this morning. That felt good. I have 3 more days including today before vacation. YEAH. Thank goodness. I need a break that isn't surgery related.
So what is everyone celebrating this morning??

You missed Lise's starting celebration post today. LOL
Today I'm celebrating that with a lovely raining morning (sky is a beautiful shade of grey) I can let my stress and worries go a way for at least a few moments.
Today I'm also celebrating the return of some blood work for my Friday appointment with the Endocrinologist, even if some results aren't what I wanted/expected or even that I can understand yet...0 -
I forgot I have one to add from last week. My friend and I at work were messing with the ambo weighing scales. They are heavy weight ones that you roll the patient and the trolley onto then subtract the weight of the trolley to get the patient weight. We got them for weighing non ambulant patients. I was really surprised when we were within a kilo of each other. Shes a bit of a bigger girl but I wouldnt have had her at the same weight as me. Made me wonder about how I see myself0

But GIRL - you and your MUSCLES - you're a brick @#%! house! And I mean that in the best way!
So did you think of her as bigger or smaller than yourself?0 -
I thought of her as smaller as me tbh. Made me realise that although I am big I am becoming more of a socially 'normal' size I guess. Im about an 18-20 now depending on the cut and can buy clothes in most shops except those stupid fashion houses.
And yes I know Im never gonna be a skinny minny because of my muscles. I cant wear most womens tops because of my arms and shoulders so I either have to go up a size or wear mens.0 -
I meant that muscles are compact, and in all likelihood, you are actually SMALLER than her...because you are compact...0

Ah I see. Maybe so. I still do have the clothing issue though. PT and nutritionist have told me not to worry about aiming for a 'normal' BMI because of the fact Im muscular under the flab. Once the flab goes I will probably still be heavy. They said just to aim for a certain 'look'. Funny how you can be the same weight and be built totally different. My sis and I are maybe 7lb apart and built nothing alike and wear totally different sizings. Mind you shes also said she doesnt want to be muscular because she doesnt think its feminine. I'd rather be muscular than skinny any day of the week, I work hard at the gym and would love people to look at me and go 'yeah she works out' lol0

Yeah, muscles are sexy. Victoria's Secret models are NOT SEXY. You rock it....
Besides being feminine is overrated. Give me sexy confidence (faked until made or not!) any day of the week. I'm so not girly with lace and pink and ruffles and dresses...but I'm sexy as hell when I wanna be.0 -
Im the least girly person in the world. My go to clothes are jeans, a mens tshirt and hoody and skate trainers. Honestly speaking I detest most womens clothes. Luckily my hubs likes a skater chick.0

Right now I'm wearing jeans, trainers (it's what you call tennis shoes/workout shoes, right?), a grey tee shirt and a black sweater, hair back in a pony tail... Only eyeliner on because I get tired of looking like a ghost some days.0 -
I last wore makeup when I got married. We have been married 7.5 years lol. The last time I wore it before that was my 21st birthday...Im 35
I detest the stuff. I did go through a nail polish phase last year when I managed to break my nail biting habit for a cpl of months (its back) but even then it was purples etc.
Yes we call tennis shoes trainers. I tend to wear crossfit trainers for working out and the rest of the time live in some garish yellow karrimor runs. I do love loud colours too I forgot to say. My fave hoody is BRIGHT orange with Alcatraz psycho unit printed on the back. Its kinda big on me these days but I cant bear to give it up0
