Today is my last day before a much needed vacation. Yeah. I'm celebrating that today.

Today I am celebrating my new hair style. Not quite what I was going for since the stylist thought she knew better than me and didn't think the chunky highlights would be a good idea...not going back to her that is for sure. There is much bigger contrast between the dark and light in the sun but it is definitely a big change for me. You will have to excuse the bad picture since I am photogenically challenged. I also picked up some temporary blue dye at the store and I will get the blue streak at some time on my own.

I am celebrating that I am dusting myself off after yesterday and working hard once more. I went out for lunch today and deliberately chose somewhere I could still eat on plan so have still come in under cals and over protein. I am having a delicious dinner of chicken peppers and new potatoes in a tomato and cheese sauce as we speak and have prepared a pulled pork mushroom and mixed bean stew for work tomorrow. I also bought some high quality hot choc powder to stir into greek yoghurt to see if a little of that staves off future binges.

I'm also pleased that I went with a friend to anither local gym today (not my own gym) as she had a free friend pass and as I was lifting I leaned back and she went 'omg I've just realised how toned you have gotten you can really see the weight coming off'. She's the third person in five days to ask if I've lost more when in fact im still dealing with my disneyland gain so maybe the scales are just being slow to catch up.

Celebrating that I was able to rake, weed, spray weed killer, and lay fabric in our extremely overgrown flower bed. 3 hr, 20 min worth! I'm beat. But I didn't quit. And it looks decent for my first time ever trying. Mulch will be next weekend probably.
