I've been lurking since I started tracking regularly on MFP about 3 weeks ago.
I'm Lacy and I was sleeved on 3/23/15. On surgery day I was 317.5 lbs and I now weigh In at 299. My surgery went by the numbers and I had zero nausea and was released from the hospital the next day. My sleeve feels good empty and I can go hours without thinking about food -- which is a miracle to me. I was a boredom eater. Big time.
Even when I'm eating I'm not thinking about food- wishing I could eat more of this, or try some of that. I'm averaging about 650 calories a day. I took 3 weeks off from work, mostly because I didn't want to be at work while my body figured out puréed foods. I've been on a stall since coming back to work 3 weeks ago and I'm trying not to overthink it. Just keep doing what I'm doing. I started on the elliptical last week and eased my way up to 25 minutes. Three days a week for now. Keeping my fingers crossed that there's more weight loss to come soon and I can't wait to see what NSVs are in store.

The three week stall is so common that there's a name for it: "the dreaded three week stall!" lol! It has something to do with water and glycogen and a whole lot of stuff that I wish I could remember, but you can probably look it up.
It sounds like you're doing great, though. Keep up the good work!0 -
I was sleeved on 2/18 and I stalled for a month! I know it's a part of the process but it's difficult to go through.0

Yup! I stall frequently for about a week at a time. Don't worry it will break. I just try to remember that my eating and exercise behaviors are consistent no matter what- because this surgery was a lifestyle change. Keep on keeping on and the weight will catch up0

Welcome to the other side.
This post really brought things into focus for me. Now my 3-week stall around Christmas makes sense. I was almost 2 months out.

I was sleeved on 4/7 and been losing like a pound a week for the two weeks - it's been driving me nuts, as I exercise like crazy and can't seem to get in the recommended 600 calories...I know it's the "dreaded stall" but UGH...I am right there with you guys! Can't wait until we all break through0

Joysie, call your NUT and tell them how many calories you are burning, and how many you are eating. It could be the case of not eating enough. Can you use more protein shakes to get more protein/calories in? I'm not suggesting eating back all of your exercise calories, but 25% to start, and maybe working up to 50% might be worth a try.0

I did, she said I need to get between 600 and 800 calories - I have tried, there just isn't enough hours in the days I get up between 5am and 6am and go to bed at 11pm I have taken to putting shredded cheese on everything to up the calories...I am lost honestly, I am giving it until mid next week and then making an appointment with the other NUT at the practice, I don't know if I need to try and add more at meals...1/4 cup seems to be my limit though, this week has been better with getting at least close to the 600 calories.0

So how about protein drinks? take a cup of 2% milk and 1 scoop of protein powder, split that over two drinking sessions. That would add about 200 cals and 30g of protein.0

I do one protein shake a day Premier protein - my diary is open, I welcome all the advice I can get I am hitting my protein targets (last few days have been closer to 600, but barely).0
