Fitbit Charge Really Confused?

Hi, I just got my new fitbit charge a couple of days ago and I cannot for the life of me figure out the fitbit site, I would rather just continue to use MFP. However, I am really confused how it works on MFP? I synced my fitbit to MFP and it said it is connected, but what does it do on MFP? I haven't seen anything added on my profile or any info about it today. Yesterday, I noticed when I was done logging my food for the day it said something like fitbit 0 at the bottom, I got a lot of walking in and I was under my calorie goal, so I am not sure why it didn't register my steps taken for cardio? How does it exactly work? I have tried the help page, but still seems really confusing. I apologize if I am not making any sense, but I don't even know how to explain it because this whole thing is confusing to me. Sorry....

A zero adjustment means you burned fewer calories than your MFP activity level. Click on any adjustment to see the math MFP used to calculate it.

Set your activity level to sedentary: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided and enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

Also suggest you read the FAQ in this group's stickies to answer questions you didn't realize you had, and ones you do.
