I am sure this has come up before, but I couldn't find the thread. Has anyone else had a problem with their Charge HR being wildly inaccurate? I have done all kinds of adjustments (dominant, non-dominant hand, stride length) and it is still pretty off. 20% off is ok, but more than that is kind of unacceptable. MFP is saying that I burned 616 calories with exercise today.... HA HA HA HA HA . I have done almost nothing today. SO I am just wondering if anyone has tips to help all of this run a little more smoothly?

Why do you think that is so far off? I am over 60 and within 20 lbs of my goal weight. I walk 12K daily, do fitness classes 4 times a week and often get that kind of adjustment or higher. I am very inactive when not walking or in classes. I'm a computer geek, so in front of one most of the balance of my day. I wear the Fitbit on my non dominate hand.

I have been losing on average 1 lb per week which is what I have set in both MFP and Fitbit.

Have you read the FAQ you might find additional help in there? http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10098937/faq-syncing-logging-food-exercise-calorie-adjustments-activity-levels-accuracy

Your Fitbit burn is TDEE (aka your maintenance calories). Adjustments are the difference between your Fitbit burn and your MFP activity level.

Click on any adjustment to see the math MFP used to calculate it.

ah ok.. I was thinking there is no way,. maybe burned off 300 walking and that's about it :)
But it registered 30 steps when I went to the bathroom and 3 floors when I was asleep on the couch, so I guess I need to tweak it a little more, but I am not sure what else I can do.

The stair count does not affect your burn in any way. It's just supposed to be a fun motivation. It's based on air pressure, so you can get lots of "flights" walking outside on a windy day.

Stop overthinking your step count. My Flex gives me "steps" just drying my hair. But I lost the weight and have maintained for 10 months—which means my Fitbit burn equals TDEE.

Trust your Fitbit for several weeks, then reevaluate your progress.

ok.. I will try. I didn't expert it to be completely accurate, but I guess I expected a little more :)
