I just go to http://www.fitbit.com—or use the app on my phone.

Try logging into Fitbit.com. From that main page you should be able to "login." Once you login save the dashboard in your browser as a favorite in your new computer. That should save the login info into the browser so all you need to do is click on your new favorite and enter your password. With all the emphasis on privacy and identity theft most new computers come with security settings set not to save passwords, web history etc. If that doesn't help; let me know.

If you plan to use the sync stick on this new laptop - yes you will have to install Fitbit Connect application.

In addition to above about actually logging in to your account.

Anne, I got a new laptop today. Never had one before, I've got serious brain ache right now!

Anyway, I went to the fitbit link posted above and went to "log in".
