It's been a rough ride....

Last few weeks have been tough. I haven't been around much so I thought I would touch base and let yall know what's been going on. Tried to message Carol and John, but the FB messages apparently didn't get through.
Some of yall may remember that my wife was pregnant and we were expecting baby number 7. My wife had some issues here and there but nothing major. Well about two weeks ago she stopped feeling the baby move. My daughter, Keira Abigail was stillborn, and my wife had to have an emergency c section.
We are doing well, the funeral was tough but we know where she is, and that we will see her again. We have an amazing church family that has brought meals for nearly two weeks, and has been a great comfort.
Needless to say I am really going to have to get "back on the wagon". With all that's been going on I have not even tried to pay attention to my diet, and hey they call it comfort food for a reason. I just wanted to let yall know what's been going on, and I look forward to getting back in the swing of things, nice to have a group to be with in doing so.
God is always good, even when we may not understand the reasons why.

Kevin, I"m so sorry to hear about your daughter. I cannot even imagine what your wife, you and your family are going through. I'll keep all you in my thoughts and prayers.

Kevin, Jennifer and I are together right now and we were just talking about how glad we are that you are back. I'm so sorry to about your loss. I just can't imagine that I'm sending you lots and lots of prayers. I'm so glad you checked in with us. We were talking about how Jennifer and I feel the same way that it's nice to have a group of folks that you can count on. And I know where all that for each other.

There are no words of condolences that can accurately convey the feelings, but God is with you and I will pray for you and your family0

Kevin, I add my condolences and hope that God will give you and your family some comfort in your hours of need. I can tell you from experience there is no cut deeper than the loss of a child, but it will heal, there will always be a bit of an ache but it will heal. Keep strong in your faith, may God Bless and keep you my friend.0
