Fun video Jen!! Thank you so much for putting it together. Hey! Look at you! You're vloging again!! I shared more videos with you and I am going to try to schedule a google hangout with you and the other gunrunners so we can put that together with the other videos I shared. But you're welcome to use them on your channel however you want. So much fun to re-live our fun girls weekend!! Thanks again! And hey, I have started Whole30 over many times now and it is easier each time.
Kelley - We need some pictures!! Kudos girlfriend. I'm with you, it is about your decisions but the community and other folks really help.
John - yes feel better. Thanks for sharing the Ben Greenfield show and all the FB support!!
Heron, I don't know how you manage to help all those puppies/doggies but I really admire that you do that. It is very cool that you have your BodyIO trainer. I know you'll keep us posted.

Not sure I could quite do that, but is similar to my no sitting in airports unless eating ( not drinking) in airports rule. Also appreciated how well he explained fruit / fructose response in there. So many people do not realize both how quickly fruit is turned to fat. And how it is different than many other carbs if doing carbnite or other protocols designed to spike insulin. If you think about it most fruits are naturally only around from late spring to fall...in a out in the wild evolutionary world, we would have come out of winter very lean almost starved. Would need to replace body fat in spring (berries and other lower sugar fruit) but by fall when we'd be going into winter/ low food/ slow movement hibernation almost that the high fructose, good fat building fruits like apples and pears would be available. Now we can eat all those all year long, in huge quantities...(and somehow equate them in health benefits to vegetables which they are NoT). Then wonder why we get fat.
Liked his opinions on carbs for fat loss ( basically you earn them....if sednetary 10% of calories from carbs, higher up to 30% on days with more gym gone depleting workouts- like met cons and heavy lifting, cardio is not steady state heavy glycogen depleting).
Oh and how he explains to his kids about carb brain fog, and the muscle building properties of protein and how good fats fuel mental and physical performance, even that they will do poorer at school with heavy junky carbs. Good for him!
Kim, same here. I have re-listened several times. He favorited your airport tweet! Thanks for sharing that!!! And for the kind words.0 -
Cynthia - Love the Benchmark program with the kiddos. You KNOW you made a difference for them. I love that you share more than academics with young minds today. Wish you were coming to Vegas!!!0
