Not happy with weight and avoiding wedding planning

My fiance's mom is ALL ABOUT me picking a date recently, and I find myself having an aversion to doing so because I do not feel like I am in the bride-to-be shape that I want to be in -- I have even been thinking about postponing the wedding from next summer to summer 2015 (I think my mother in law would flip out!).

I am very motivated to lose weight and get into shape, and I have been sticking with a routine, but I just cannot bring myself to deal with wedding things.

Have you ladies had any issues with this?

    My date will be in Sept. 2014. That gives me well over a year to lose! My target is 1.5-2lbs a week! I want to lose at least 80lbs!

    My advice;
    -At the end of the day, the wedding, the marriage. It's about love. Try not to get obsessed with the rest of it all! Or hire a planner! That's what I did, so for the next year, I can focus on me!
    -Try explaining to your future mother in law what is going on in your head. She is a woman too!
    -Setting a date for summer 2014 gives you a solid year to change your body and look the way you want! Start now and don't waste any more time!!!

    Good Luck and Happy Planning!
