Welcome. The people here are really nice.
Sorry to hear about your pain. You have a lot going on and I know it can be discouraging, but you are here!
Any diet will do, as long as you stick to it. I have Osteo in both knees, so I understand. You can do sitting aerobic and band exercises. I do that when it's raining or I have to much pain too take a walk. It might not burn as many calories, but you still need to do something, especially for your heart health. I'll post some links below. As far as diet goes, try something anti-inflammatory like this?

Here are some seated videos I like, also I have some "chair dancing" videos on dvd...

I can't always do the leg things. I do what I can.
I hope this helps a little. Good luck on your journey!

Chronic illness with lots of pain and too many other issues. Most loss weight for health reasons. Learning how to adjust to this new life style with my chronic illness and trying to find a new normal for my life.0

Yes, new normal. RA, thyroid disease, degenerative disk disease, OA mixed, L4-5 bone in bone. New has been evolving. It is what it is. Better to have some control and diet will help you feel better.0
