Negative calories for Exercise?

Today my MFP/Fitbit link is doing something odd that it has never done before...my exercise calories are displaying as "negative"...which is in turn lowering my calorie intake goal for the day? (For example, my formula on MFP on my food log today reads: "You've earned -8 calories for exercise today"). I'm still planning on staying around my 1500cal intake goal for the day, regardless of what the formula says, but it's odd.
This is the first time I've had this happen. Has anyone else had this happen? (Please don't judge me for my lack of activity today...lol. I've had a lovely, slow start to my day which will quickly change, and I work out in the evenings).
