Any demand for a Separate recipes group or would a single Message thread where recipes can be posted ?

I am going to start a new message thread for Hints to make the food better right now.

Have a Good Day
Roger

I like the idea of a separate forum myself.

I subscribe to Recipe Swap on MFP, it may already be what folks are looking for?

    Hi Flo
Not much feedback on this subject, May not be much demand.
Why start with a recipes message and see where it ends up.

Thank You for reminding me, I lost track here.

    HI Flo
Haste Makes waste, I was in a hurry due to running late and did not proofread what I wrote. I meant to say
Why not start with a recipes message and see where it ends up.

    Notice the added word.

    Have a Good Evening

    O.k., I'm slow ...

You want (me .. ?) to start a new thread about whether or not others want a new Recipes group ... ?? If so, I don't think we need one because we already have this thread.

Or, do you want (me .. ?) to start a new Recipes Group? If so, I'm not sure I know how to do that nor even how to manage it.

    Told ya I'm am slow ... ;)

    Hi Flo
Two options as I see it start a Recipes thread here in this group and see if it gets used or I can start a new group for NutriSystem centric recipes that use NS foods as a basis.

with a new group it will need to be advertised in our signatures and I can put a link in the same place as I put the one for the food reviews.

I can start the group, I'll let You decide. One advantage to a separate group is that each recipe can be a standalone message with the recipe being the title.

    Does that help?

    Yes, that helps, Roger, thanks.

That is what I thought you were suggesting when you started this thread ... you would create an entirely new group. I still think that would be a good thing.

I don't mind advertising the link in my siggy either.

    Hi Roger.

I joined the NS Users Challenges just now.

But, when I try to join the NS Recipes to work on Plan, it tells me that "registration type is not supported".

    Hi
What happens? I thought I left it open. Can You see and read messages there? So far I posted this one to get it started.
    http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10191790/pauls-bundt-cake-from-a-ns-post#latest

Please let me know, If need be I can delete it and create a new open group.

    Thank You
    Roger

P.S. I just tried reading it from Internet explorer, not logged in and could read it so it should be working. I do not think You need to join it to use it.
    Good Luck

    Hi Roger,

I can see the new forum and try to join, but it gives me an error message, "registration type is not supported".

I can see and read the new thread about the Bundt cake. But, there is no reply box so cannot make a comment on the new thread (since I've not joined). Also, there is no availability for me to create a new thread (add content) in the forum (since I have not joined).

I did contact MFP for assistance and have not heard back from them.

I don't know if deleting the new forum and starting over will work or not ... ??

But, in looking at the new forum, there is only 1 member (that must be you) who has joined. So, it makes me think others cannot join either... ??

There again, it could be just a problem on my end.

Well, I just tried again and the reply box is there. Go figure. I made a comment on the Bundt cake thread.

But, the new group does not show up under "My Groups" like all the other groups to which I belong. I still try to join, but it will not allow me to do so. And, I cannot submit new content since I cannot join.

    So, I just don't know ...
