We have received an increased number of reports stating that members steps are not syncing correctly to the app. We are currently investigating this issue, and hope to get it sorted shortly.
At this time you may see incorrect step counts from all step partners on the home screen of the MyFitnessPal app.
For now please refrain from unlinking and relinking the apps as this will not resolve the issues.
Again our apologies.

I just got this email from support:
Hi there,
Please accept our sincerest apologies for any problems you are having with your Jawbone syncing. Unfortunately, we are investigating an issue between the two. We are working with Jawbone to get this corrected as soon as possible.
Whenever there is an interruption, it can cause a back log of data that needs to first process before things can return to normal. Depending on how long it takes for this data to catch back up, it may be a day or two after the fix is in place before you start seeing data flow again.
Depending on the problem, after the fix, it's possible that past data that did not sync will not sync after the fix is in place. However, all future data should show.
We will update the following link once we are confident sync has returned:
https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1983451--jawbone-syncing-issues
After sync returns, if your adjustment returns, but your steps do not, try going to the Step section in the app, then deselect Up as your step source, then completely log out of the app. Wait a few minutes, then log back into the app and go back to the Step section and reselect Up as your step source to see if that triggers it to work again.
As for the adjustment, if you are seeing 0 or greater for the adjustment it should be working again. If you do not see at least a 0, then it is still a problem. For information on understanding the adjustment please see: https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1084232-what-is-the-calorie-adjustment-in-my-exercise-diary
Again, we are truly sorry for this interruption. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work on getting the programs back to normal.

I've only had my Jawbone for a little over two months and this is the second major sync problem with MFP
Is this a common occurence?
Edit: it's also not syncing with the iPhone health app either ...0 -
For the past two months, MFP has had step problems with every single device—not just UP.0

It seems that a lot more than just steps isn't syncing properly right now though from Jawbone...0

According to the link posted above https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1983451--jawbone-syncing-issuesJune 3, 4:13pm PDT - Jawbone has put a fix in place on their end and we are now seeing exercise data syncing at this time. Please note that with an interruption like this there may be a backlog of data sync requests that will need to be cleared before experience returns to normal.0 -

Unfortunately Jawbone and all the UnderArmour owned apps (MFP/ MapMyFitness / etc) must be having problems... I ran 4 miles this morning and recorded the run as I always do on MapMyFitness. Now, two hrs later my UP still only shows 500 steps for the day. It'll catch up and be back in sync eventually. Besides, I probably need to backoff of my obsession with tracking anyway.
Yeah, I try and use all the sync glitches as reminders not to be so obsessed with my data. "Try" being the operative word.0
