In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?

Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can! <3B)

    Hello All,
A new week and a new month. such a difficult time of year to be consistent. but we don't have to be perfect, just be aware of the choices we make. we all struggling with similar things for many varied reasons and place on our personal journeys. but we can all make one healthy choice for ourselves this week and then one more.

My goals this week are the same as last. start to log and be more active. I hope to match 3 workouts from last week but really want to do another one.

Susan- glad you are feeling better. have a great week this week. you are right that we need each other but we can do things on our own. it is just a whole lot nicer to share and to get and give support.

Amy- thanks for your kind words. keep going to the gym and focusing on you. you are important and you are worth it. have a great week.

Hearts- hope you are getting some sleep and also getting things cleared out. so wise to start early.

That's right Paulette. Achieving one healthy choice for this week is a great thing for us all to work on. I agree, we all are so different, yet close in here as friends. Your logging and getting in 3 good workouts this week would be awesome for you.

Susan, I also think we need all 3--doing things ourselves, getting support from others, and the great feeling of commenting and supporting others. You also want to log your food and drinks. Yeah, good luck avoiding high temps with the dogs.

I'm working on some "coping" things.

This is for you Hearts. and anyone else who is interested about life in Arizona lol

You Know You’re In Arizona When ….

You think Taco Bell is the local phone company.

You notice your car overheating before you drive it.

You no longer associate bridges or rivers with water.

You can hear the weather forecast of 115 degrees without flinching.

You discover, in July it only takes two fingers to drive your car, because your steering wheel is so hot.

The best parking is determined by shade.....not distance.

You run your air conditioner in the middle of winter so you can use your fireplace.

You realize that "Valley Fever" isn't a disco dance.

You can make sun tea instantly.

Hotter water comes from the cold water tap than the hot one.

It's noon in July, kids are on summer vacation and yet all the streets are totally empty of both cars and people.

You actually burn your hand opening the car door.

Sunscreen is sold year round and kept right at the checkout counter.

You put on fresh sunscreen just to go check the mail box.

Some fools will market mini-misters for joggers and some other fools will actually buy them. Worse.....some fools actually try to jog.

You can pronounce Saguaro, Tempe, San Xavier, Canyon de Chelly, Mogollon Rim, and Cholla.

You can understand the reason for a town named "Why"

You can fry an egg on the hood of a car in the morning.

You know hot air balloons can't rise because the air temperature is hotter than the air inside the balloon.

No one would dream of putting vinyl inside a car.

You can say "Hohokam" and people don't think you're laughing funny.

You have to go to a fake beach for some fake waves

You hear people say "but it's a dry heat!"

You buy salsa by the gallon.

Your Christmas decorations include sand and l00 paper bags.

You think a red light is merely a suggestion.

All of your out-of-state friends start to visit after October but clear out come the end of April.

You think someone driving wearing oven mitts is clever.

Most of the restaurants in town have the first name "El" or "Los."

You think 60 tons of crushed red rock makes a beautiful yard.

Your house is made of stucco and has a red clay tile roof.

Most homes have more firearms than people.

You know better than to get into a car with leather seats if you're wearing shorts.

You can finish a Big Gulp in 10 minutes and go back for seconds.

You know a swamp cooler is not a happy hour drink.

You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Arizona.

    You take rain dances seriously.

You've signed so many petitions to recall governors you can't remember the name of the incumbent.

When a rainy day puts you in a good mood.

When you drive two miles around a parking lot looking for a shady place - even in the dead of winter.

You feed your chickens ice cubes to keep them from laying hard-boiled eggs.

You "hug" a cactus only once in your lifetime.

When you have to look up "mass transit" in the dictionary.

A hundred ten in the shade is sorta hot, but you don't have to shovel it off your driveway.

    You wear a bola tie.

    A haboob happens.

    Petrified doesn't mean scared.

The temperature drops below 95 and you feel a bit chilly.

You've experienced condensation on your butt from the hot water in the toilet bowl.

You would give anything to be able to splash cold water on your face.

You can attend any function wearing shorts and a tank top.

You realize that asphalt has a liquid state.

Hilarious... hot toilet water? Wow... be funny to do a 'trading spaces' deal, I'll see if I can handle heat like that and you see how you do in the cold & ice. Or have you lived there all your life, if you're a transplant you've likely moved from a cold state. :)

You made me smile Susan..thanks!! :) Is this list here because I asked you if you have 'dry heat'? LOL Somehow it does make a difference here when it's super hot but not humid but we don't get 115 EVER... so I won't ask about the 'dry heat' anymore. ;)
