Fitbit goes backward

I've had 2 instances of my Fitbit losing steps. In one incident, it was after I'd hit my goal. The Flex showed I was only 80% but the app showed I was over my goal. The 2nd time was Saturday evening. I had 6K+ steps going into our kolo dance routine at the Slavic Festival. Similar to the day before. The day before, I hit my goal on the 4th dance. Saturday, I had a short break after the 4th dance and I looked at the app. It showed 8800+ steps. I figured I'd hit my goal soon. We finished the routine (I had 3 more dances). I walked from one end of the festival grounds to the other and back to get my dinner and then ate dinner. When I was finished, I looked at my app and it showed 7200+ steps. So did the Flex. It had only 3 solid lights instead of 4. (My goal is 10K.) The battery was low and died before we left the festival. I believe it was low the other time.

Has anyone else ever had their fitbit go backward, losing their steps when the battery is low?

Gabrielle

Have you contacted Fitbit customer service? If your tracker is defective, they'll replace it.
