Rita's

Yesterday was hot and sunny, so at lunch time I had my first Rita's Gelati for the season. I like to either have one of those or a Misto once in a while. The regular Gelati seems to be the best choice as far as calories go.

Favorite flavors
Juicy pear
Mango
Black Cherry
Orange

Always with vanilla custard.

So what's your favorite Rita's treat?

Well last year I got a waffle bowl with vanilla custard and caramel syrup. It was probably way too many calories but absolutely amazing. Then spent probably 2 hours in the bathroom with massive diarrhea. I now avoid Rita's...

But as a rule, for me water ice is kinda a waste of calories (like sorbet in general), I'd rather have the fruit! So I'd go with just custard.

There's a Rita's here and I've never been to it. Maybe I'll have to check it out next time I go to the mall it's by.

I went to the Rita's in Galveston last weekend, a blend of chocolate, cookies and cream, and whip cream. It was pretty good.

I haven't been to Rita's in awhile. I would usually get a gelati.

We recently got a Rita's in our small town. I had a custard twist cone, it was pretty good but a little over priced.

Juicy pear is my all-time favorite so far.
Green Apple is good too. And it goes surprising well in a gelati.

Well... you are entitled to your opinion.

I really want to try the green apple. They didn't have it the day I stopped.
