I think at some point previously someone may have addressed this, but as you lose weight are you finding yourself being cold? I feel like I am cold a lot, especially my hands. Even though it is summer, I am still wearing long sleeves at work, or putting a light fleece coat on. I think my circulation is ok, so maybe it's just my body missing the layers of fat I used to wear?

I was definitely ALWAYS cold for a long time after surgery. I had my surgery in October so that winter I was always bundled up, even though I live in CA! I have to say my body has adjusted, and even though I feel like I get colder that I used to more easily, it's no where near as bad as it was.
ETA - I had my surgery about 20 months ago, to give you an idea.0 -
It could also be if your iron is lower0

I had never felt cold until I started losing weight. I would regularly make it through a Michigan winter only wearing a heavy coat a few days, the rest in a fleece or something else light. this past winter, it was heavy coat from November through March. On the golf course, i have had to learn to layer and swing with outerwear on. It has been a totally new and fun process to learn "warmth-skills"!0

My doctor explained it this way, he said I had lost a "164 pound blanket". True and I was freezing! However, this summer, coming up on 4 years out from surgery and almost a year stalled, I find I'm slightly less cold than I used to be. My doctor said my body thermostat would eventually reset and maybe that's what's going on, or maybe my body thinks it's in maintainence. Either way, it seems to be getting better.0

been experiencing the same "problem" recently, getting cold. the up side is that i've changed the settings on the a/c at home, saving a little bit of money and my wife doesn't complaint when we're driving somewhere about freezing. i agee with pawoodhull about losing the "blanket" i've been wearing all these years.0

I am cold all the time and I love it! I used to sweat all the time no matter what the season. So nice to be cool this summer0

I was cold for about the first 3-4 months during my rapid weight loss phase. now I think I've normalized as I am not longer freezing at 5 months out. I eat about 1300 calories a day and usually 80g protein or more.0

Growing up in the north and now living on the GOM I had been comfortable in wearing shorts and shirts 12-months. But since my VSG I have been getting cold and it's June, but I'll accept as part of my getting healthy0

I'm always cold and I'm still 251. I think it's something to do with the surgery. I still wear long sleeve shirts in 90 degree weather because I'm freezing. I use my heated blanket at night. And my iron levels are normal.0

I'm cold a lot--and I've come to love the summertime heat and being outdoors in the sunshine, which used to be a disgusting sweat-fest. Winter was hard, though.
I still don't like to get hot when I run, though. I need a fan on the treadmill or a nice breeze outside!0
