Vince is from Ghana originally, has been lifting since the age of about 13, and can deadlift something ridiculous... He helped with my deadlift and bench today. This is after trying to fix my lagging hips (my back was taking too much strain). Your comments appreciated! Also I thought this one I had trimmed but uploaded the original LOL..

Looks good! I'm always amazed at how much form really does play into the movement and makes it seem easier.0

Can you please tell me what he told you to do? I can't really spot the difference... Not enough experience or knowledge, really! Also, what sort of gloves are you using? I hate calluses and am already getting them from my crossfit day. I tried on a bunch of gloves at Rebel sport, but couldn't work out which would be best. I have quite little hands, and most seemed to bulk up on the palm, which I thought would affect my grip negatively. Looks like a great gym. Mine is more about machines, with just 1 squat rack and 1 bench. Luckily I go in the morning when there are only 3 elderly men getting rehab exercises!! Thanks for putting up the vid. I wanna learn!0

Of course! in the unfixed one you can see I am straightening my legs before my back comes up so my butt goes up then I use my back to lift the bar the rest of the way. In the corrected one everything happens more together, with hips and shoulders coming forward at the same time. Concentrating on speeding up the movement (think explosive) and pushing with hips really helped. On my own I wouldn't have been doing repetitions without resetting though!
gloves were whatever they had in the shop at the gym the day I bought them. They have a bit of padding at the bottom of the fingers. I only use for deadlift and rows. I am getting slightly calloused under my ring fingers but not terrible. I could take off my rings I guess but don't want to attract that sort of attention lol!
