Hi,
My name is Dodi and I have been on the 21 day fix for about 3 months now. I'm wondering if you have had any great results.

Hey! I'm on Day 1... So no results yet! Excited to see what happens!0

I'm starting day 1 tomorrow!0

Good luck today!! Are you doing the shakeology too? My friend (who is also my coach and got me into this) swears the shakes make a huge difference. So far, I think she might be right.... That or it's my increased protein intake. I'm a vegetarian and tend to more carb heavy.0

I'm on Day 9 right now. I feel great and lost 2 pounds as of Day 7. I don't do Shakeology, as I use comparable protein powders.0

Today is day 6 for me, so far I'm really liking it, I've lost 2.5 lbs and can feel like my clothes are fitting better. I'm not doing shakeology, I too am just using comparible protein powders.0

Day 5 today. The workouts are seriously kicking my a**! I have a tendency towards being sore easily, so even when I feel good after the workout, I can't move the next day! Granted, I'm certainly not in the best shape of my life either. Anyone else have this problem?!
I've also lost 2.5lbs, so that's still a positive!0 -
When I initially found this group I was anticipating it would be old with no one presently working through the program, but what an awesome surprise! :-) I'm in day #4, just finished my morning workout, and am loving the results so far! So sore I can barely walk, but it hurts so good! :-P I'm down 3 pounds!0

I was extremely sore the first few days, I'm just starting week 2, I found the first 3 workouts made me sore, I'll see if that happens again week 2. I feel my body is adapting or at least I'm hoping cause I wasn't sore after the 3rd day.0

Finishing round 1 Sunday0

I think my soreness is getting a little better. It's the full body cardio stuff that so hard on me! After my first work out (dirty 30), I couldn't pick up a piece of broccoli I dropped on the floor. I had to have my 8 year come pick it up!0

I feel like the pilates yesterday really helped reduce my soreness...I at least didn't have to barrel roll out of bed this morning, so that's a plus! :-)0

I was looking for inspiration to bite the bullet and buy it and I think I've found it! I'm so excited!0

It feels great!!! I'm going to start another round soon!0 -
I'm on Day 14 now; I've dropped about 4 pounds so far. I'm glad to know that today is just the Yoga workout. I think the hardest workouts are the Cardio ones, but I love all of them. I also like Barre Legs and The Ab Fix bonus workouts and I'm glad I get to alternate them with the Lower Body Fix and Pilates workouts. This final week is the double exercise week so I'm a bit scared. I'm also doing Autumn's 3 Day Fix for the last three days of the workouts.0

Awesome!! Good luck with you on your last week0 -
I'm hoping I'll be ready for double workouts in a week!0

Today is my day #7! With the first week coming to a close, I've lost ~3 inches total and 4 pounds! I'm proud of that, but I can't wait to see what next week brings! :-) The yoga today was so nice! Happy Monday, everyone!0

I just started my first day today! Thanks for the inspiration lady's!0

That's awesome @rjpittner! I enjoy the yoga day too. It feels really nice. @Staceyschin Glad to have you with us!
I'm on Day 16 now. For the last week I am following the doubles schedule. It's not so bad thus far. Yesterday I had the Total Body Cardio in the morning and then the evening was Pilates, so I told myself "Pilates is easy peasy in comparison to this morning" so I got it done. My hamstrings are extra sore today though. Today is Upper Body in the morning and Cardio Fix at night. I'm sure by the end of the doubles week I'll be glad it's over. I'm not sure if I want to do a Round 2 of 21 Day Fix or move right to 21 Day Fix Extreme after.0 -
Can you even imagine what your final measurements/weigh-in day will look like though!? I'm getting excited for you just thinking about it! Hang in there...you've got this! :-)0

Hi All, I just started my first round today! Glad i found this group. I'm feeling very motivated!0

I just started yesterday, Ladybug1250! Looks like we're on the same page. And I'm not using Shakeology either, just a similar protein powder.0

I'm glad more people are posting here now. I'm also happy to see a lot of non Shakeology drinkers here. I've tried it before and it's not bad, but it doesn't do anything similar powders can't do and I didn't notice all of these ~amazing benefits~ people claim they felt. My Shakeology dupes are Vega All-In-One Nutritional Shake (vegan, grain-free) and Garden of Life Raw Meal (vegan). I do feel like the Raw Meal fills me up a bit more. I'm grain-sensitive so I don't eat grains, but I can handle the brown rice protein in the Raw Meal thankfully. When I do the workouts like Upper or Lower Fix that are very weights based I drink Syntha-6 post workout(whey protein) which I would not compare to Shakeology.
If you are someone here that does the workouts and Shakeology and you like it, I'm glad it works for you. I'm not trying to insult anyone here who does do that, so please don't feel that way. I'm saying this because what disheartens me are the success stories where people say they lost weight because of Shakeology instead of giving the credit to themselves. You didn't lose weight because of Shakeology; you lost weight because you put in the effort to workout and watched what you ate. Replacing a meal with Shakeology will cut a few calories, yes, but so would any other meal replacement. You have all the power!0 -
Well said @synacious! We've had the convo about meal replacements. I really like the shakeology because they are tasty with just water. But it's way to expensive to continue.
Currently on Day #11. My workouts are going much better this week. I'm not nearly as sore as last week, so for those of you just starting ding worry if it kicks your butt!0 -
I'm right behind you, Crosby, on day #9! I was really dreading total body cardio because it KICKED MY BUTT last week, but I'm only very minimally sore AND I was able to really push my way through the workout (whereas I was kinda dragging and felt like I was dying last week). Today was upper body and I had so much more energy! The one move that still kills me every time is those stinkin' scissor crunches, though!
I also use an alternative to Shakeology...GNC's Lean Shake. When I compared the nutrition labels, there were a few calories more in mine, slightly less protein, and the vitamins weren't so off the chart (but really, your body just eliminates what it doesn't need regardless...), so I'm happy with it! Lean Shakes are always on BOGO 50% off sales, which is when I stock up! :-)0 -
@CrosbyMcDowell very true about Shakeology being expensive. I suffered severe sticker shock when I saw the prices. @synacious , thanks for the tip about following weight heavy exercises with a protein shake. This morning was the Lower Fix for me (Day 3!) and I followed it with 20 minutes of Zumba. Had a blueberry protein shake for breakfast.
Is anyone else doing other exercises while following the 21 Day Fix?0 -
Starting Day 1 on August 17th
Wish me Luck!!!! I am not using Shakeology - I will be doing a Thrive Shake in the morning w/ almond milk and maybe another for a snack during the day or after a workout, other than that will be eating real foods. Also planning on adding a nightly run/walk in the evenings and the 30 min workout upon waking in the am.0 -
@evelynfarmer I really don't want to dampen your enthusiasm, but just a heads up: 21 day fix recommends almond milk (which kinda considered a treat) 3 times a week. But I'm excited for you to get started as see the great results!0

As for additional exercise, I haven't been aside from some walks with my kiddo, but those are usually a slower pace. After how sore I was last week, it didn't even cross my mind to add anything else. I start doubles on Saturday so I want to see how that goes. But I'm planning on doing another round and I'll probably be more aggressive with my workouts then.
