Companion Foods Peking Vegetarian Roast Duck (X-Post Team Vegan)

Last Saturday I went to a local Chinese market that I hadn't been to in years and found these in one of the aisles. They looked a bit dodgy but I decided to give them a try since I hadn't seen anything like them before, and after I dumped this Peking Duck out I was even more apprehensive; it looked very similar to meat and the smell was just as suspicious, so I didn't even bother to take a picture because I was entirely expecting to toss it out! As leery as I was eating it, it was amazing! I've never eaten duck before, and I rarely eat meat substitutes so I can't comment on how accurate it was but on its own merits it really was delicious! It wasn't slimy or soggy either, it was hard to believe it came out of a can. I can't wait to try the rest of these, all of them are vegan, and this weekend I'm definitely going back to stock up! Has anyone else tried these? Either Boca needs to step up their game or I'm moving to Taiwan.
