Nightshift brought me a surprise

Had to take an ambulance jolly into another county with a sick patient last night. Our hossie is a district general and often has to send speciality stuff out to outlying specialist hospitals. This was a cardio thoracic emergency and had to go 40 miles away to the nearest CT centre.
I am going somewhere with this.
I only had my bright orange 'Alcatraz Psycho Unit' hoodie with me and its a bit innapropriate for a transfer of that nature so I ended up asking a colleague to borrow their coat thinking it would eat least cover my back and shoulders. But I ended up being able to zip it up and keep warm.
If you had asked me last night I'd have told you I was the biggest one on shift, any shift.
Maybe I need to think about how I see myself

Lise,
This is so awesome I got goosebumps! We always have a skewed vision of ourselves, especially if we've ever been excessively over or under weight.
You should rock on, Marine!
Hugs,

If I look straight on when clothed, I'm good. But naked, I see that overhang, and sideways I see butt/gutt... LOL!0 -

I've had some medical appts this week, and each time I had to sit in a chair with built-in arms, I cringed... but I fit comfortably into EVERY SINGLE ONE. Difficult to see/acknowledge the changes. I'm 104 pounds smaller, but I don't really know that yet.0 -
I can only dream of 104lb atm. I'm down 51 and 3lb still off my lightest weight recorded before superhuman.0

Lise, I'm down 104 but still have 200 to lose... so, yeah, it's all relative.

I have another 4 stone 9 to lose so 65 more to go. Technically Im not morbidly obese anymore - im 'regular' obese but I love this group too much to go0
