Hey guys... So I feel kinda weird dumping my problems on you guys but this is the only group I belong in, an I don't know who else to go to. I don't think I can do this anymore. I've tried to make a "lifestyle change" an all that but I have got a serious chronic overrating problem and I can't control myself. I have no one to turn to for help and I jus can't take my emotions dipping so low so often and drastically. I hate myself for what I've become, and I'm just stuck.

You have come back to the right place. There is always somebody here to offer advise. Some may be good some may be not so much.

The first thing I would suggest is for you to be totally honest with yourself. Log everything you eat and do for a few days even if you know that it is wrong. Then have a good look at what you enter and pick one thing that you can successfully either completely delete or drastically cut down. Continue doing this every couple of days and you will eventually get to the healthy path that you can stick to. HONESTY IS THE KEY!!!

Keep in touch and message me if you need to talk.

It really is easy to give-up. Stay with it, girl. Give yourself small achievable goals, say 2-5# or 30 second reduction in a timed exercise/race, and reward yourself with praise and a new race entry.

What worked for me since I tend to emotional/bored binge (specially when I'm stressed), is that I just stop buying foods I know I can't say no to. My husband and I used to go through a pack of Oreos in hours, so we stopped buying them. Now if I feel like I just have to snack before bed, the only thing I have is apples, and they do less damage, and somehow just seem less satisfying to eat a ton of. I know there is a lot more to it than that, but I feel like that is what has helped me the most over the last three years.
