Camping for 6 days with a Charge HR (sync/battery)

We are leaving for 6 days and I personally won't have any reception on my phone for syncing. What will happen? Also, is there a way to preserve battery life? It is not lasting 3-4 days but hasn't died on me yet by not charging.. any tips would be appreciated.

Turn off the HR & follow the other steps on this page: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/Tracker-battery-information
