Up3 - calibrating?

Hello! I just got the Up3 this past weekend. I was excited to transfer everything from my old (original) band to this new one.
I am wondering if there is a way to calibrate the new one like I did with my old one.
I am noticing that this band does not register as many steps when I run. This morning I ran 3.5 miles and it only registered 2900 steps (1.2 miles) - that doesn't seem right at all. I am a short person so my stride isn't that long... with my old band a 3.5 miles run would log at least 5K steps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just read a previous post where people state the step count is considerably lower with the Up3. That kind of stinks. Although, in a way I guess it could be good... it means I have to be more active to reach my step goals, which means I'll be burning extra calories to hit my 10K step goal!0

My UP2 step count is much lower than my UP24, so I lowered my goal.0
