Swelling

Any idea on why I swell? My hands will get twice it's normal size when I run. It use to happen on my longer runs (8 or more), but I've noticed it happening on my 3 mile runs lately. Is it dehydration?

    I would like to hear some insight into this as well. My happens during my runs over 20 mins and on my long walks?

    Hey.. so just an advice try to move/open your hands while you are running ... and don't use anything too tight in your pulse for it doesn't stop your blood movement..

    I think that would help you all ;;

    It happens to me as well. My nutritionist let me know that (for me at least), it's the blood vessels near my skin opening up in an attempt to regulate my body temperature and is very very normal.

    Moving your hands should help (squeezing them together every now and then), keeping yourself cool, and staying hydrated should all help.

    I can say that I move my hand all the time to try and prevent it or keep it to a minimum, but it does not help.
