Text notification?

I use my Fitbit force as a watch also. In additional to all the health stuff, I like that it notifies me when my mobile phone rings (since I usually have my mobile on silent). It would be cool if I could get a notification when I receive a text. Not sure if the technology is there or not.

    You should suggest they add that over at Fitbit.com. They seek input from users about what they would like to see the devices doing. Now that it has gone public, I think they will be adding more features to gain market share.

    I don't know if they will add it to the Force since it was recalled, but I can see it being a possibility for the Charge/ChargeHR.

    The Surge has it. I can actually read the text message on my Surge.
