Subtracting and adding calories?

I just synched my FitBit midday, after a workout and it subtracted 70 calories from my daily total. In the past I have waited until the end of the day to synch and it usually adds calories to my total. What has changed?

I fgured that would put me below 1200 calories for the day. am supposed to have 1250. Very confused.

Click on the adjustment in your diary to see the math MFP used to calculate it. It's the difference between your Fitbit burn (which is TDEE) and your MFP activity level.

Is your MFP Activity level above Sedentary?
Then it's expecting a certain calorie burn per minute, and higher than sedentary value.

So that means with workout in Fitbit stats for your daily burn so far - MFP actually estimates you'll burn more actually at that point - but you had burned less.
    So it subtracted some calories.
But as day progresses, you'll likely catch up to where you'd normally expect it to be, a smallish positive adjustment perhaps.

Then again, maybe you sat around and got some paperwork done before the workout and normally you'd be more active moving.
