I've been away for a long time due to a lot of physical issues. I've finally had them taken care of, at least the ones that could be corrected with surgery, but now I'm back and ready for a new lifestyle of eating and exercising! I love being able to add homemade foods and have a calorie and serving size already noted. Today is my first day entering my food, drinks and water. I'm doing some exercise which usually consists of house cleaning, laundry etc. and walking up and down the stairs in my home. I would also like to start walking so that I can eventually get my 10,000 steps a day in. I also want to do some strength training. Does anyone know how important it is to also add aerobic exercises to a workout?

Welcome. I do around 20 minutes of aerobic exercise a few days a week, other days I walk or use arm weights. I've noticed that any exercise is beneficial.0
