Fitbit Weekly Snapshot

I just got my Fitbit last week and therefore this is the first weekly snapshot they're sending me. I have been logging food only on MFP and eating back 50%-75% of the extra calories Fitbit gives.
Please see my attached photo to bring some clarity! My question is, how did they come up with the weekly calories in vs out number? If you subtract the calories eaten from the calories burned the number is much higher than the number they're showing on the right.

What it is (very poorly) saying is that you've had a deficit of 1055 calories more than your plan of 3500.
So you burned 17747. Your plan is 3500 less than that, meaning that your plan said to eat 14,247. However, you ate 13,192. 14,247-13,192 = 1055.0 -
Heh, I had wondered that, too, but just looked at the total on the right and discounted the "nonsensical" big number. Thanks for the explanation!0
