progress photos?

OK...I want to start taking progress photos since I'm more focused on recomp and muscle visibility than weight, and it's really the only way I'll be able to see if what I'm doing is working...I know it's silly, but I'm not exactly sure how to take the photos...
1. Do I flex in the photos, or not?
2. I should do a front, back, and side view, right?
3. the only place that has a mirror big enough and enough light is the gym...do I just suck it up and take the selfies there even though I feel like I'll be conspicuous and look shallow and self absorbed?
thanks!

1. It's up to you really. But if you're gonna go for it, do both flexed and not flexed. (Make sure especially that you have reference where you're not sucking in your belly!)
2. Again, if you're going for it, get as many pics as you can
3. Most cameras (including camera apps for phones) have a timer you can set up to like, 10 seconds. Get some good lighting in the living room (I recommend not facing a window at dawn, lol) and brace the phone on the coffee table with a coffee cup or the kitchen table with a pile of books - get creative, try a few different angles, eventually you'll get something goodMirrors are crappy to take back shots, anyway #truestory
