2 week weight loss stall

I am two weeks post sleeve today, and have officially hit my first stall, the scale has not moved in a couple of days. I am still on a liquid only diet, so I know it is not what I am eating. I am still restricted to how much walking I can do, so all I can attribute this to is my body going into starvation mode. It is either that, or my thyroid is up to its old tricks again, where I can loose the inches and the pounds eventually follow. I was ready for this to happen next week, when I can start on soft foods, just frustrated that it happened a week early.

Hang in there, and keep doing what you need to do. Your body will catch up. I'd recommend putting the scale away for at least a week. Keep walking and sipping- your body has had quite a big and sudden change and it is trying to hold onto its reserves. It will get the memo soon that the reserves are leaving whether it wants them to or not. It just takes time. This too shall pass!0

My "week 3 stall" started on day 10 post-op. It is what it is and will end eventually. Just keep on truckin'.0

I've just broke my week 3 stall after two weeks of waiting! Absolute torture and incomprehensible how it could be possible with so little eating/drinking. Key is to keep doing what your doing and let time take care of the rest. The weight will come off. It has to.0
