Hope it's okay that I start this week's thread. :smile:

I had a good week. I was under my calorie and carb goal every day and cycled at least an hour and a half every day, so I've mitigated the damage done when I overindulged around my birthday in the middle of July and then didn't get as much exercise after my bike accident.

Today is "cheat meal" day, so I will have big turkey dinner. It will put me over on carbs (I try to follow the Insulin Resistance Diet), but thanks to cycling, I should come in under my calorie goal.

My boyfriend and his son, whom I haven't seen for five weeks, are arriving tomorrow. I've missed them a lot, and my boyfriend really pushes me because he can cycle further than I can. The weather has improved here and while the locals think it's too hot, I'm used to it, and have no problem being active in this weather.

I hope everyone had a good week and will continue to have another next week.
