Hi to all. Matt, 43 years old, a recently promoted blue belt that started jiu jitsu wanting to do an athletic activity with my teenage sons (14 & 12). Currently 263 - goal to get back to 200, to help my jiu jitsu and most importantly just live a healthy lifestyle. Looking for an "accountability buddy" to help me stay on the path!

  • Hi, I'm Margaret, 18 years old, white belt. I've been doing BJJ for 14 months now and I currently train 12 hours a week. I have competed in 3 tournaments so far and have fought 11 matches. My goal is to gain weight by eating healthier food because I'm only 97 lbs. and I'm not very strong. It's very rare for me to have people in my divisions, I had to compete in the 120 lbs. division at my first tourney and 125 lbs. in my second.

45 year old, 2 stripe blue belt. Been training since August 2012. I have a 2nd degree black belt in karate, I got into BJJ to round out my skills and to explore another aspect of martial arts. In September 2014, I fully tore my ACL and spent most of 2015 working through physiotherapy and trying to not put on a whole pile of extra weight. Back training, pretty much 100%, using myfitnesspal to keep myself honest in terms of nutrition. I use Training Peaks to track my workouts, and for some reason, my BJJ sessions show up in MFP as....snow shoveling. LOL :D
