Confused about syncing

Hi everyone
I posted this in an other discussion forum, but I'm hoping you'll be able to help me more. I've synced my jawbone up with MFP account. It shows how many steps I've taken here and jawbone shows my food score. But I can't figure out how to turn my steps into calories burned. I've put negative adjustment and my level is sedentary (hoping to change that soon!).
I also can't find exercise listed in my diary. I click on the + sign and then scroll down to see cardio and strength. I click on cardio and I get a list of exercises, but nothing showing jawbone...
FYI, I have a Samsung S4.
Thanks

Connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/show/97
Set your goal to .5 lb. for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided
Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings
Log food & water in MFP. Ignore your UP calories (the green tab) and follow your MFP calorie goal, eating back your adjustments. No need to log any step-based activity—your UP is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in UP or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your UP burn during that time.0
