anyone who has Binge eating disorder and Bipolar?

Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with bipolar after more than 2 decades of misdiagnosis as having severe depression. The medication I've been put on has led to me gaining 10kg in 5 months as its triggered my binge eating again and I can't stand myself. Waiting for my next psych appt is horrific. I just can't stop eating and every day I'm on these pills is another day I get fatter. Miserable :/

    I have Borderline, and when I went on Mirtazapine, I gained about 20lbs, and it also triggered my ED. The best advice I can give is to consult w your doctor to find a medication that helps, but does NOT cause weight gain. There are dozens of different meds you can try, so don't feel like you are stuck with this one <3
