Hi. I have lost 30 on the BMO diet. I ordered a new kit because somehow lost mine in a move recently. Let me know if you want to buddy up. I want to lose about 30 pounds by October 24th.

Hi Ladies! I bought and followed this program in 2002 and it worked well for me. I found notes in an old date book that I lost 11.5 lbs in 17 days, and I wasn't weak or terribly hungry. Since then I've gained it all back and then more. :/
I've been counting cals since July 3rd, and have lost almost 10 lbs so far, but have plateaued for the last 10 days. :s
I'd be happy to join you, and see if this program can shake things up for me! Also, I'm hungry too much even though I'm not restricting very much, and am hoping maybe the frequent mini-meals might relax my body's primal fear-of-famine.
I might be doing my own slightly more flexible version or the program, to accommodate my hypoglycemia. I'll see how it goes! :)
Feel free to add me if you like! ;)

I dropped 2.3 lbs overnight, even tho I didn't follow it perfectly! :p
Today also wasn't an ideal food day, as I was out, so I had chicken Yakatori & a bowl of white rice. I also treated myself to a skinny vanilla (sugar-free latte) as I was with a friend, so that doesn't follow the no-dairy rule.
This evening the cooked chicken was gone, so I had a chicken hotdog with 1/2 cup brown rice & veggies, so I hope the sodium in that & the Yakatori doesn't show on the scale tomorrow morn.
    How are y'all doing? :)

Add me, please. I am starting the 6WBM TODAY. My daughter is getting married in 6 weeks. Perfect timing. Even though I did just order my dress. I don't even care. I'll buy a different one if I lose weight and it's too late for alterations. LOL

Saturday: Hi ladies! How are y'all doing?
So I had a very challenging week, the weather was horridly hot, and I didn't get enough sleep, and in the end wasn't able to stick to this plan. I did track at the same time, and my calories ranged from 1040-1950. (It looks like a history timeline, lol!) I had to eat at the canteen at work several days, and in an effort to stick to plan I ended up at the salad bar with quantifiable foods like turkey ham, garbanzo beans, etc. But so much sodium I bloated like a balloon. Then my hubby went to Costco & bought so much food the too-small fridge is bursting. So I had rotisserie chicken (salty,) edamame (salty,) and a lot of fruit. I wasn't eating fruit before, to avoid the sugar. Then yesterday I had pizza. This weekend there are two outings to nice restaurants planned. So the best I can do is make reasonable choices, and try to go back on plan Monday.
End result: my weight bounced around, yesterday I drank a cup of dandelion tea (diuretic) and peed out the water-weight, and today I'm 0.1 lb above my loss weight of Sunday. Total loss this week: 2.2 lbs. Exactly one kilo.

I am down three pounds since I started this plan, last Wednesday. I did not stick to the plan on the weekend, due to a bridal shower and birthday party. So today I am pretty much just getting back on track. I think that's all we can do, right? I know the plan works if we follow it. Let's give it our best this week and see what happens. Drink up!!!

Hi y'all. I kinda fell off of doing this specific plan, *sigh* and have been just tracking calorie intake. My meals are still mostly based on the plan, though: protein, veg, & whole carbs. Limiting wheat whenever possible, avoiding altogether when possible. Some dairy. That's working for me, so I'm losing at my usual slow rate. I might get back on the plan eventually. I think one thing that threw me off was my husband shopping at Costco, and there being a lot of food around that isn't plan-based. I also had a few dinner-at-restaurant occasions.
    Hope y'all are doing well!

I used this plan back in 2010 (I think?) and it was great. I'm looking to lose 22 lbs, so I'm going to prep all my foods this weekend and then start fresh Monday. I have IBD so my food choices are limited, but I can make it work. Plus, the mini meals are better for my digestion.

Hi! I also lost a lot on 6WBMO once before- the prep just takes so much time. Now I'm unemployed and I'm going to Hawaii for the first time next month. I think I can make a difference in a month this way!

I'm doing this! I met a girl last month that did it. She used to be 260lbs and she's now 145lbs and has been maintaining the last 12 years. She said it really changed her life. I searched for it and found it on Ebay and bought it for $29.99. I've been on it for a week now and have lost 10lbs and 12 1/2inches all over so far. Pretty amazing! You are correct in saying that it is mostly about CLEAN EATING.

I'm considered obese for my 5'2" frame based on the CDC BMI calculator site. Oh, and my doctor made that note in my chart too. Not to mention having to go on Blood pressure meds now.

So I'm trying to lose 60lbs total using this program. Anyone else?

I like this plan. Sensible and healthy. You are having great results. I've been on and off this plan since 2005 and initially lost 65 lbs. I keep coming back to it because it works.
