So it is friday finally. This week seemed to dragggggggg. What is everyone up to this weekend?

I have the usual for me. Tonight I am going to go for a run (day 7 of my 30 days of running). Make some sangria and fruit salad for tomorrow and chill.
Tomorrow I have football playoffs (I hope we lose so this season is over) and then a backyard BBQ in the evening (why I need the sangria and fruit salad)
Sunday softball was cancelled due to a tournament so I am going to go to the whitewater center with my friend who works there. Yay 50% off discount! We are planning on either stand-up paddle boarding or flat water kayaking.

I agree this week dragged!!

I am dog sitting for my uncles 2 dogs tonight--they are older and very well behaved so that is an easy job.

Then tomorrow, I have my niece (4 yrs) and nephew (8 yrs) for the day - attending a bday party for my cousins daughter and my sister will meet me there. Then Sunday, a bbq at my moms for aunt and uncles bday and then my nieces 4th bday party......very busy!!

No dates this weekend . The new guy I am talking to is in NH for the weekend.............

I wouldn't say just single people but people that love their animals in general do it.

Honestly just going through the motions. Work, gym, repeat. Impatiently waiting for July b/c of my short vacation to San Diego! Going to visit friends, including finally having a in person MFPeep meet up! ( She'll be my first, I hope she's gentle :blushing: ) and getting my geek on at Comic-con.

I really only scanned through this instead of actually reading, and I thought it said "dog sitting in my undies."
There won't be dogs here, but that's pretty much how I'll be spending my weekend. I love having the apartment to myself! :drinker:

Sorry I was AWOL I finally got moved on Thursday and havent set up the internet at the new house...... Now I'm unpacking ugh :grumble: all weekend... Up side my house has stairs and I've been up and down them about a million times ......... My tushie hurts lol

Our city is in a state of emergency with floods washing out downtown and neighbours around me. I am safe, thankfully.

Friday - went with 3 friends out for dinner/drinks for my girlfriend's birthday. We came back to my house and had some more drinks.

Saturday - worked out, now I am getting ready to go cheer on the Chicago Blackhawks with Asai!! GO CHICAGO!!

Sunday - unsure, housework? laundry?

I am heading back home on Wednesday to see my nephew graduate highschool

Beer darts? umm wow never heard of that one. I think I will stick to beer pong and flip cup.

Friday night we went to a bar to see dueling pianos. Was a blast and I ended up drunk, which was needed after all the work I've been doing lately.

Saturday was Busch Gardens with the kids. Lots of fun, but we got rained out and left a little early (no worries, we have season passes and will head back again). Grabbed ice cream and a movie on the way home and made the most of it.

Yesterday I got things ready for our vacation. We head out Thursday night for 10 days. After that my son has a trip with church for a week and then they head to their dad's for 5 weeks...dare I say freedom? I will be miserable after a week without them, but it's nice to imagine the quiet right now.

Beer darts? umm wow never heard of that one. I think I will stick to beer pong and flip cup.

It is a blast, you all sit in a circle with a can of beer in front of you, and you take turns throwing darts at your friends' cups. If you hit a friend's can they have to drink to the point of where you struck their can. If you hit the top of the can you have to chug the whole can.

It's all fun and games until you get stabbed in the leg. That was a game ender.
