Other groups doing the idea of reasonable deficit caught on better - which this was just an attempt to encourage doing.
Wasn't as catchy a phrase I guess.
They still use the spreadsheet though, pointed out in the intro paragraphs, and contained in my profile page.
2 there actually, one more detailed for better first estimate - that also allows tracking progress.
And a really simple one better than TDEE charts that don't include differences in daily activity.0 -

I know there are ones still doing it too, and others that reached their goal weight doing this method.
But you can still have a reasonable deficit and actually lose faster.
The folks that stuck with this specific method wanted slow loss and great improvement from exercise, and their weekly routine barely changes, so they just keep dropping weight constantly.
