New packaging on some of the pouches in my last Delivery.

As I mentioned in the title I got some pouches in my last delivery and they have been packaged in thin cardboard boxes. I wonder if they were reformulated too or just a change in packaging with no other changes.

I wonder if they are changing suppliers or what. I got Sloppy Joes, BBQ Seasoned Chicken and the Meatball pouches in boxes.

P.S. FWIW I started using the Quaker Oats Oatmeal pouches. They have some light weight control flavors that run 160 calories if made with water and taste good. For example this one, Quaker - Instant Oatmeal - Banana Bread Weight Control, is a nice change of flavor and it leave me with a full PF to use too. The NS oatmeal's are tasty too. The other feature of that Quaker oats is that the packet has a line where You use it to measure the liquid after You empty the pouch.

Roger-I like McCann's steel cut oats. I usually eat plain oatmeal and add 1 packet of sugar in the raw.

My Brother likes Steel Cut Oats too. A bit more work. I hate cooking, that is part of what got me where I needed NutriSystem. Too much Eating out and take out foods.

I got new packaging on some of my new ones too RogerToo. Hmmm...wonder where the rest of my order is. It hasn't been picked up yet by FedEx or I would have had an email from them. Hopefully its coming next week....probably due to the dry ice thing.

I never get but the one email and it is for whichever comes first, usually the Shelf Stable foods. Then since I get my Frozen the next morning I know it is coming when I get the Phone call around 9AM that my frozen has shipped. That means I need to look for it the day I get the phone call. They Also cheap on the Dry Ice and I usually have one Dry Ice package keeping it cold. For my delivery that is enough as I get it the next day and it has most of the Dry Ice left.

I did start using the frozen Yesterday (Saturday) as I had extended my delivery to use up some of the A La Carte Items I add to each order.

According to NS my frozen is still processing....so won't get picked up until Tuesday at the earliest. I never get a phone call about the frozen shipping.

Mine usually come either on the same day or 1 day apart...until this month. My frozen should be here by Saturday...a week later. grrr.

I received my BBB this past weekend, and saw they changed packaging as well. I changed from my way to core and they completely changed what I had ordered. I could complain, but that's not me, I'll just eat what they sent. They sent things I hadn't tried before, so I will give these a try at least.

TBH my frozen has been running later after the Shelf Stable delivery for a while now. When I started they came together. I think the frozen deliveries out of the Pennsylvania warehouse are backlogged due to the dry ice problem.

I do keep a couple of weeks of Shelf Stable food on hand just in case.

I am easy going too, I only complain if something is missing or damaged and that is pretty rare. Substitutions OTOH seem to happen in every delivery lately.

I like trying new things too, I have discovered some of the foods that I thought I would like were terrible and others I thought would be bad were OK so I try them all now.

I prefer to save my money on the NS Oatmeals, they taste good, however the Quaker Oats as I mentioned in this review are just as tasty and should work too.
